Advanced Standing Guide

Use this document to identify the courses at any of the 23 post secondary institutions in British Colubmia that meet the curriculum of the 18 syllabus topic areas.

If you're taking the second accreditation path, you can keep the Advanced Standing Guide to plan your course schedule while you work through university or college.

Some CMA students may have graduated with a diploma or a degree in Business Administration or Commerce during the last five years. These students, while they're working full-time, will use the guide to identify and plan to take any courses they're missing.

CMA students who have been in the workforce longer than five years typically take the CMA Accelerated Program to refamiliarize themselves with the 18 syllabus topic areas.

Only the students who have successfully passed courses covering all these topic areas qualify to challenge the CMA National Entrance Exam.
