The CMA Accelerated Program is one of the accreditation paths in the CMA Qualifying Program. Like the other accreditation paths, this program is designed to prepare you to challenge the CMA National Entrance Exam.

How is it different? This intense and demanding 9-month part-time program enables you to challenge the CMA National Entrance Exam in less than one year. You can continue to work while taking the program, or you can devote your energies to it full-time.

Next Program Start Date

September 2008

Registration deadline: August 1, 2008

Please check back closer to June for the September 2008 Registration Form.

Students are encouraged to apply early to reserve their seat in the program.  All applicants must choose a first choice and a second choice of location/delivery mode. Acceptance is based on availability. In particular, the technical aspects of the Distance Education program require that we limit the number of students in that option. Applications for the Distance Education program will be processed using the following guidelines:

Until July 18th, applications for the Distance Education program will only be processed if the applicant lives outside of Metro Vancouver*.  Among those applicants, registration will be processed on a first-come, first-served basis until July 18th.

Students who live in Metro Vancouver and apply for the Distance Education program will initially be assigned a seat in their second location choice. On July 18th, any available seats in the Distance Education program will be assigned to those prior Distance Education applicants living within Metro Vancouver based on the date the registration form and payment was received by CMABC.

From July 18th to August 1st, applications received for any remaining spaces in the Distance Education program will be assigned on a first-come, first-served basis, regardless of the applicant’s location of residence. Students living outside of Metro Vancouver will not be given priority during this time period.

Applications for the Surrey and Vancouver sessions will be processed on a first-come, first-served basis throughout the registration period.

* For a list of municipalities included in Metro Vancouver, please visit http://www.gvrd.bc.ca/about/index.htm.
