Mutual Recognition Agreement with CPA Australia
The Mutual Recognition Agreement between CMA Canada and CPA Australia strengthens an already excellent relationship between these two leading accounting organizations. The agreement offers a wealth of opportunities to members of both bodies, among them enhanced international professional recognition and mobility.
The landmark alliance identifies areas for mutually beneficial joint initiatives, including educational and professional development, and research and advocacy. The partnership highlights the increasingly global nature of the profession and the growing movement toward international knowledge-sharing and collaboration.

Agreement for CIPFA Members (UK)
CMA Canada established a Mutual Recognition
Agreement with the Chartered Institute of Public Finance and
Accountancy (CIPFA) Under this agreement, qualifying members
of CIPFA can become Certified Management Accountants and vice
versa.
Based in the United Kingdom, CIPFA has over 15,000 members
and is the only accounting body in UK that specializes in
public service.
For IPFAs wanting to become CMAs
Members of the Chartered Institute of Public Finance and Accountancy
(IPFAs) who are residing in British Columbia and want to apply
for membership at CMA Canada - British Columbia can do so

CMA Canada established a Mutual Recognition Agreement with
the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants of the United
Kingdom (CIMA). Under this agreement, qualifying members of
CIMA can become Certified Management Accountants and vice
versa.
For CIMAs wanting to become CMAs
Chartered Management Accountants (ACMAs) who are residing
