Course-by-Course

Depending on your educational background, you may qualify to write the CMA National Entrance Exam based on the coursework completed through your post-secondary program.

The Advanced Standing Guide lists the equivalent courses at various post-secondary institutions in BC and is based on the Required Topics necessary to acquire the functional competencies of the CMA Competency Map (Entrance Exam Requirements).

To pursue this option, you must enroll in the applicable courses by applying directly to the post-secondary institution of your choice, then apply to CMA British Columbia for eligibility to write the National Entrance Exam.

While it’s not required, you can also apply for the CMA Student Membership and gain access to a wide range of benefits including career opportunities, publications, invitations to special events, and much more.
