Strategic Leadership Program

The CMA Strategic Leadership Program (SLP) is a two-year, professional development program, that is completed while working full-time, and is the cornerstone of the accreditation process and sets the CMA apart from other business professionals.

To qualify to enroll in SLP, candidates must successfully complete the CMA National Entrance Exam or complete an Accredited degree program.

After completing the CMA Strategic Leadership Program, candidates will understand how tools in the areas of strategy, management and management accounting, operations, human resources, marketing and information technology, jointly inform and guide strategic planning and implementation, through all phases of an organization's product/service life-cycle. Program graduates will provide real world strategic direction, business management and leadership in today's global marketplace.

The Strategic Leadership Program is the last step in the CMA Accreditation process and upon program completion, candidates earn the CMA designation.
