CMA BC Joint Networking Event with the Vancouver Board of Trade – October 30, 2008 On October 30th, a sold out crowd of Company of Young Professional (CYP) members, university and college students, and Certified Management Accountants were treated to canapés and a memorable networking event at the OPUS Hotel. The Certified Management Accountants (CMA) of British Columbia sponsored the event to help increase designation awareness for future CMA members, and to provide a networking opportunity for Vancouver Board of Trade “Company of Young Professional” (CYP) members and CMA professionals. OPUS was a perfect venue for young professionals from both groups, CMA and CYP, to develop new business relationships in a fun and modern atmosphere. The networking continued for hours as each group got to know each other better while enjoying delicious food and listening to music the DJ was playing the background.
