Chartered Accountants (CAs) and Certified General Accountants (CGAs)
Individuals who have obtained their
- Chartered Accountant (CA) designation will be exempt from writing the National Entrance
Exam. They will be required to complete the Strategic Leadership Program and satisfy CMA Canada Practical
Experience Requirements in order to become a CMA.
- Certified General Accountants (CGAs) who have completed either the Corporate and
Small-Medium Enterprise or the Government and Not-for-Profit PACE stream and possess a university degree will
also be granted exemption from writing the National Entrance Exam. To become designated as a CMA, individuals
will be required to complete the Strategic Leadership Program, and satisfy CMA Canada Practical Experience
Requirements.
