SFU Executive MBA

CMA British Columbia offers a Joint CMA/MBA program with Simon Fraser University’s Executive MBA.  To apply for this program, you must be registered as an Executive MBA student at Simon Fraser University. 

To be eligible for the Joint CMA/MBA program, the following minimum requirements must be met:

• Completion of a recognized degree
• Current Executive MBA student
• Minimum of 5 years of senior financial management experience
• Completion of the following SFU MBA courses:
  • MBA 670, Financial and Management Accounting (minimum grade of A-)
  • MBA 663: Managing New Ventures (minimum grade of B)
  • BUS 653: Management Accounting - can be completed as an elective in the summer semester of either year (minimum grade of B)
  • BUS 632: Operations Management - can be completed as an elective in the summer semester of either year (minimum grade of B)

The following forms and documentation are required for application:

• SFU CMA/MBA Joint Program Application form
• Official transcripts from undergraduate degree program
• Official transcripts from the SFU MBA program

Upon acceptance into the program, candidates must join CMA BC as a student member, by completing the CMA Student Membership form.
