What you need to know before you can write
Effective June 2007, the CMA Entrance Examination will consist of one, four-hour multiple choice exam. The exam will test candidates on the technical skills required to enter the Strategic Leadership Program.
The objective of the CMA Entrance Examination is to evaluate whether candidates have mastered technical skills in the six CMA Functional Competencies: Strategic Management, Risk Management and Governance, Performance Management, Performance Measurement, Financial Management and Financial Reporting.
The Entrance Examination is held twice each year, in mid-June and mid-October. The exam is four hours in duration and is comprised of approximately 120 multiple choice questions. Students must achieve a mark on the exam of 60% or higher to proceed into the Strategic Leadership Program.
CMA British Columbia offers a number of resources to assist candidates in preparing for the Entrance Examination, including online practice exams, as well as two preparation courses offered by CMA BC.
