CMA National Entrance
Exam Preparation Courses
There will be two preparation courses offered through CMABC:
- Entrance Exam Review Series
- Entrance Exam Simulation Series
Both preparation courses are mandatory for first-time writers qualifying through the course-by-course option and are included in the Entrance Exam fees. Entrance Examination prep courses are also highly recommended for re-writers. We strongly encourage all re-writers to register for these courses.
Entrance Exam Review Series Prep Course
CMABC offers the Review Series in partnership with Langara College to provide an intense, five-day review of the topics tested on the Entrance Examination. The Review Series is held at Langara College and the schedule is as follows:
- Saturday April 12 – 9:00 am to 4:00 pm
- Saturday April 19 – 9:00 am to 4:00 pm
- Saturday April 26 – 9:00 am to 4:00 pm
- Saturday May 3 – 9:00 am to 4:00 pm
- Saturday May 10 – 9:00 am to 4:00 pm
*A distance education version of the Review Series is available to students living more than 90kms from Langara. The online distance schedule is TBD.
First-time writers qualifying through the course-by-course option are automatically enrolled in the Review Series Prep Course. This review series is highly recommended for re-writers to freshen up on content they have not formally reviewed since their University Program.
Entrance Exam Simulation Series Prep Course
CMABC offers the Simulation Series to provide exam writers with exam writing Strategies and to imitate the exam writing experience through 2 practice examinations, along with review sessions of the practice exams. This course will provide you with 2 exam experiences, which will better prepare you for the pressures that occur during an exam as well as help with practicing the content that will be tested. The Simulation Series is also held at Langara College and the schedule is as follows:
- Saturday May 24 – 9:00 am to 5:00 pm
- Saturday May 31 – 9:00 am to 5:00 pm
*A distance education version of the Simulation Series is available to students living more than 90kms from Langara. The online distance schedule is TBD.
All first-time writers are automatically enrolled in the Simulation Series Prep Course.
