Provincial Government Employees According to the 2008 GST Guide "employees of a provincial government who make official business purchases in their own name have to pay GST", therefore CMA BC is required to collect GST on all registrations, unless we are billed directly by the provincial government and their invoice contains the official certification seal that states that the goods and services being purchased are being purchased with Crown funds.
